The first hour after an inquiry decides the job
Most businesses don't lose customers to a better competitor. They lose them to a faster one. A widely cited Harvard Business Review study, "The Short Life of Online Sales Leads" (Oldroyd, McElheran and Elkington, 2011), found that companies that contacted a web lead within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to qualify it as companies that waited even an hour longer. For a busy owner that hour is hard to protect. You're on a job, with a patient or in a meeting when the phone rings. This is where AI earns its place. It answers the call, replies to the form, asks the questions your best person would ask and books the next step or flags it for your team, at 2 PM or 2 AM. Nothing about your service changes. The customer simply hears from you first, while they're still deciding who to call.
